Sunshine Hospitals conducting Two days workshop on Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO) – Complex High Risk Angioplasty.

Hyderabad September 2018:  The Cardiology Department of Sunshine Hospitals is conducting a 2 – day workshop on Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO) – Complex High Risk Angioplasty. Chronic Total Occlusions are the long standing total blocks that are usually hard and difficult to cross with traditional approaches and may lead to Myocardial Infarction in other words – Heart Attack.
Dr.Sridhar Kasturi, HOD & Sr. Interventional Cardiologist, Sunshine Hospitals Dr. Shailender Singh, Interventional Cardiologist, Sunshine Hospitals

Dr.Vijay Kumar,Dr.Atsunori Okamura, Director of Cardiology and Coronary & Peripheral Intervention in Sakurabashi Watanabe Hospital Japan.

There are a lot of developments in the field of Interventional cardiology to handle cases of CTO effectively. These could be retrograde or a hybrid approach that can minimise the risk of going for a Bypass Surgery. But internationally research has found out that the procedural success rate of a PCI in CTO cases has been very low. This condition is mainly because the current hardware and guidewires are simply not enough to cross through these CTO Blocks that are very hard due to the longevity of their existence.
To help the Interventional Cardiology fraternity in Continuous Education efforts and also have an experiential recap of the procedures  as a part of the CTO – PCI internationally, Sunshine Hospitals under the Leadership of Dr. Sridhar Kasturi, HOD, Interventional Cardiology is conducting a 2 – day workshop on CTO – Complex High Risk Angioplasty. The Workshop is conducted in association with Terumo Corporation which specialises in minimally invasive Entry Site Management.
The Team of Interventional Cardiologists from Sunshine Hospitals Dr. Sridhar Kasturi, Dr. Shailendra Singh and Dr Vijay Kumar have explained the importance of knowledge sharing to bring to the patient a reliable and advanced Intervention to give a long lasting solution to the problem of CTO.
Sunshine Hospitals under the Leadership of Dr. Gurava Reddy has over the past few years pioneered affordable and reliable medical care to the people of Hyderabad specially. It is the continuous endeavour of Sunshine Hospitals to provide advanced Medical Care and clinical procedures to the patients.
Dr. Atsunori Okamura San, Director of Cardiology, Coronary & Peripheral Intervention, Sakurabashi Watanabe Hospital, Osaka, Japan would be the Guest Faculty for the workshop.
Dr. Okamura San has spent considerable amount of time in pioneering the CTO Angioplasty with concepts like 3 – D wiring that are distinct and advanced. His Interaction with the young Cardiologists about a complex “Last Frontier of Coronary Interventions” would immensely help them with specialised knowledge.
The Workshop would be held on the 21st and 22nd September 2018 at the Auditorium of the Sunshine Hospitals, Secunderabad.

Vicat had entered in India about a decade ago as sixth cement MNC and now it has two cement companies – Bharathi Cement and Kalburgi Cement with a cement capacity of 7.75 MTPA. It also has aggregate business, one poly propylene sacks unit, two CPPs with 60 MW and one WHRS of 8.4 MW.

VicatGroup in India
In April 2010,  Vicat Group acquired 51% stake in Hyderabad based Bharathi Cement Corporation Pvt. Ltd.   Originally Bharathi Cement setup a 5.00 MTPA cement plant in Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh.   Vicat has another cement unit in Karnataka with 2.75 Million Tonnes per annum (MTPA) capacity.   The total capacity is 7.75 Million Tonnes per annum.

The company has also invested to build a robust back-end rail and road transport system ensuring the delivery of its cement within 24 hours of placing an order.

BHARATHI ULTRAFAST

BharathiUltraFast is a multipurpose Green Cement with following advantages:-

BharathiUltraFast” is Premium quality cement promoting Greener Construction which is produced with Robotic Technology. This is one of the best inventions for Engineers and Masons for all concrete applications.

BharathiUltraFast”,  is having  higher advantage and complete package of benefits of standard OPC 53 cement available in market.

ADVANTAGES:

1.      FASTER SETTING TIME:

·         This gives faster Pre Casting work even in humid conditions.

2.      HIGHER 1 DAY STRENGTH:

·         High early strength of concrete allows for faster removal of the Form Work (De Shuttering), thereby improving the productivity.

3.      HIGHER 28 DAYS STRENGTH:

·         Higher later strength gives superior durability for concrete structure. It increases the structural stability of concrete slabs, beams and heavy load bearing applications.
·         BharathiUltraFast” has a superior advantages of continuous strength gain property even after 28 days.

4.      UNMATCHED DURABILITY:

·         Low Heat of Hydration of Cement
o   BharathiUltraFast” releases low heat of hydration. This attribute helps to reduce risk of damage to concrete and reduce the tendency of thermal Cracks

·         Corrosion Inhibitor

5.      BETTER FLOWABILLITY:

·         BharathiUltraFast” leads to dense & impermeable concrete
·         Better Fineness, micro particle size distribution and optimum additive percentage in BharathiUltraFast” improves the flowabillity and aids in making concrete denser & impermeable.

6.      BEST SUITED FOR CEMENT BRICKS MANUFACTURING.
