Vicat Group along with CONCOR  in its journey of logistics excellence is now coming up with an innovative and first of its kind model for bulk cement transportation by rail in customized tank containers and box containers with liners . Bharathi Cement plans to serves its key markets of  Chennai,  South West Tamil Nadu  and Kerala from its Kadapa plant in Andhra Pradesh through this new mode of transportation.

As a part of this model, Bharathi Cement would be moving bulk cement through standard 20ft tank containers from its Kadapa Plant to Coimbatore on rakes supplied by CONCOR. , Bharathi Cement is building a dedicated packaging terminal at Coimbatore to serve bagged and bulk cement to its key markets of Kerala and South West Tamilnadu. For this setup , Bharathi Cement  would be investing total Rs. 130 Crores for owning Containers and setting up fully automated terminal at Coimbatore, said Mr. Anoop Kumar Saxena, CEO Vicat Group In India. He stated that this model would help Bharathi Cement to reduce its logistics cost , carbon emission and will improve the service level for its customers. This initiative adds one more feather in Cap of Bharathi Cement Logistics excellence journey.

He informed that Bharathi Cement will keep on implementing innovative ideas in cement logistics to serve its customer in more efficient and environment friendly way.

Hundreds of women participated in the unique Telangana Tea Championship organised by Hybiz Tv

 Hyderabad March 2022: Hundreds of ladies from different corners of Hyderabad on Sunday took the challenge of preparing tea at the Telangana Tea Championship 2022 organised by Hybiz Tv.

If you might be thinking that how difficult is making a cup of tea and how could be it a challenge? Then you would be amazed to know making tea in a competition that is judged by 10 judges’ tea tasting committee is not everybody’s cup of tea.

More than hundred women registered and participated in this unique tea competition organised by Hybiz Tv, an online business channel at HICC NOVOTEL on 6^th March 2022, was a spectacle to watch.

Hybiz Tv Telangana Tea Championship is infact one of its kind competition that is being held for the first time in Hyderabad.

Housewives to working women to women just starting their entrepreneurial journey to women who just love to try new recipes were all present at the championship to showcase their talent.  

The competition was a exhibit of different flavours of teas and its recipes. Be pink chai or special masala chai made from kitchen spices or a hot cup of tea with health benefits, the participants prepared a wide variety of tea.

As the competition was held two days prior to the International Women’s Day, the championship was open to women participants only. However, their better halves were seen cheering them up and boosting their confidence.

Cities most favourite and famous tea specialist, Café Niloufer was the associate sponsor of the event. Other esteemed sponsors of the event were Godrej Jersey as the milk partner and Roots Collegium as the hospitality partner.

TV5, The Siasat Daily and Hindi Milap were the media partners. Big FM was the radio partner and ThoughtKnit Solutions Pvt Ltd was the Event Partner.

The event was divided into 9 rounds each comprising of 12 participants preparing their tea with distinctive tastes. Each participant was provided with basic ingredients like tea powder, milk, sugar, water etc along with induction stoves, pans, strainers, bowls etc by the sponsors and the organisers.

After several rounds tea tasting and crucially judging each and every contestant on the basis of the flavour, presentation, hygiene, tea recipe 10 finalists were selected. In the finals the selected 10 contestants were further asked to prepare the same tea recipe as they made in the prelims and were judged on the criterion of their consistency of preparing with same taste, colour and feel as the first time.

Judges selected 5 winners at the final round. Mrs. Asha V M from Madhapur, bagged the first prize of Rs. 1 Lakh by making ‘Sugarcane Tea’. Second position holder senior citizen Kafeel Unnisa from Charminar made her speciality ‘Shahi Kesar Tea’ and won Rs. Fifty Thousand. Whereas runners-up  Miss. Urooj Fatima from Agar Pura, Mrs. Rajini Liju from Secunderabad and Mrs. Archana Sugandh from Somajiguda won Rs. Twenty-Five Thousand each.  

First prize winner Asha. V. M said “The moment I saw the advertisement of Hybiz Telangana Tea Championship in our newspaper I knew I had to participate in the competition. I love to experiment in the kitchen and enjoy making chai masalas of various flavours.”

“I love tea and so does my whole family. Our day never starts without a cup of tea. I feel tea act as an energy booster for me. Also, tea has many medicinal and health benefits which many don’t know about” said Mrs. Kafeel Unnisa the second winner.
