BIRLA A1 FELICITATES MANCHERIAL BODY BUILDER GOPU SRINIVAS

Hyderabad October 2017:Birla A1, a part of Orient Cement Limited, felicitated body builder Gopu Srinivas on Monday, 16^th October 2017 for making the nation proud by winning two bronze medals in recent international events.

Hailing from Gopalwada of Mancherial, Gopu Srinivas made the district proud by bagging the bronze medal in the 51st Asian Body Building championship in the Junior Men’s Body Building 70 kg category despite all odds. The championship was held in Seoul, South Korea from 20th to 26th August.

Not stopping here, he further went on to represent India and bag another bronze medal in the 9th WBPF World Body Building and Physique Sport Championship in the Junior Mens Body Building 70kg category. This championship was held in Mangolia from 3rd to 9th October. He returned to his district to a grand welcome by proud locals and representatives. Despite growing up in a household with low financial stability, his parents encouraged him to follow his dreams, becoming a role model for the youth of Telangana.
